Tickets are sold out for the educational event. However there are more seminars that will be going on during the convention. you can find them on our seminars page
The Evergreen Educational is March 15 & 16, two full days of intensive tattoo education. One ticket covers all four seminars both days.
The duration of my seminar I will be teaching students how I approach every single one of my tattoos; color realism to cartoons, alike. Students will be educated on basic art theory/ knowledge and how it’s applied to modern day tattooing. From there I will go over a step by step process of how I create my tattoos, from its first steps in choosing a reference, all the way down to presenting your tattoos on social media, and everything in between. I will explain in depth, how I am able to create soft, smooth blends and color saturation without causing any unnecessary trauma to the skin. As well as, my process on how to mix colors in the skin and in the tube. My approach to this seminar is to be more of a discussion between artists rather than a point and read presentation. The main goal of this seminar is to share as much of my knowledge as possible and become a resource for these students in creating beautiful, seamless color tattoos.
Cassady will be discussing large scale design work for tattooers. Including his process for designing large scale artwork, placement, stencil making and application. Provided that there’s time left, he will also delve into blackout, solid shading technics etc.
Lady B will be covering her two-step black and grey process, including why and how she breaks her work into two sessions. She will also discuss how to successfully tattoo fur details and achieve smooth shading.
